Due to a computer problem, I lost some records connecting George Charette b 6 june 1867- d 7 feb 1938, to my wife's Charette lines. I have searched ancestry.com and familysearch.com and can no longer find his information. Does someone have and ideas of other places to look to get about 4 generations back on him? Thank you. I would see the post here, or send it to gothisson@verizon.net., thank you again.

My name is Cassie Charrette, and I am in San Diego california and I am looking for my familie history but everyone in my family that would have the answers that I am looking for has passed away, So I am on my own and maybe I could ask you a few questions regarding your last name charrette, and where you are all from.

Hello Cassie........we are a huge family with various spellings of the name Charette. I have Charette's in my lineage but I am a Charest as the name changed to become more Americanized. My family (as did most) started out in Quebec, Canada and moved on down to the States. There is also an Association for the Charette-Charest Family. They would be happy to help you! Email me directly at lindamcdowell3@msn.com and I will forward your note to our genealogist! Happy Journey, Linda
