Looking for Alice Charette! She was married to Marcel Despres, they had 13 children one of which was my mom, Leah Margaret (Burr). My mom was born at Ft. Kent, MEAnyy help would be appreciated! Thank-you!

According to Marriages D'Edmuston, New Brunswick and Aroostook, Maine, by Father Youville Labonte Alice Charette, daughter of Romain Charette and Flavie Daigle, married Marcel Despres in Sheridan, ME, on March 15, 1905. No record in the Maine marriage database however. Marcel's parents were Leandre Despres and Marguerite Ouellette

My grandmother was Alice Charette, married to a Marshal or Marcel Despres. Her parents: Flavie Daigle & Romain Charette. Alice's children: Leonard, Pearly, Larry (my father) Alice, Isabelle, Leah and others. My father was born in Ft. Kent Maine

Hi Gregory,

The marriage is in the database. It's listed under
Duprey and Shorrett. Have to get a little creative with the spellings. )
