Looking for any information on my gggrandparents, Louis Charette and Mary Ann Violet.

I have a great grandfather who is named Louis Charest, but this last name can also be spelled Charette (or so I hear). What information do you want to know. My Louis Charest born in the 1845 in Canada. Then around the mid 1860s I believe he went to live in southern CA. I think from the 1860s-1880s he lived down there. Then in 1890, he married again (I think) a lady named Olive Mastin. I am wondering if your Mary Violet was my Louis Charette's first wife. (If any of these dates, names or locations sounds familiar please email me.)

My Louis Charette was married in 1834. He had a son Louis Charette born in 1838. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you.

Julie, I am very interested in any information about Charettes in Quebec. My great-grandparents, Eugene and Bernadette Charette, brought my family to Michigan in the early part of this century. I only know that Eugene's father was Napoleon. I'd like to know about the first Charette families in Quebec -- any advice? Thank you!

Hi Karen, I have found a Napoleon Charette in my research. He would of been born: december 14, 1861. Does that sound about right???? then maried in sept 05,1887 to Georgina Hotte, then remaried in august 09,1902 to Zephyrine Vaive.....If it is let me know....hope i can help you more!!!!

Freeman born Firmin-Zephirin was the youngest child out of a family of nine children.at St. Francis , Me., the 27th of June, 1847 was united in marriage to Maud Gagnon, Aug. 2nd 1876 in Aroostook County, Me., from which union were born the following children, Georgiana, Laura, Mary Ann, Emuel, John B.,
Leonard, Alfred, Amos , Annie and Maud.

Any help wold be great. I want too find his siblings and immediate family.

Onezime Charette in your search. Onezime was my greatgrand father. I know that he was buried
in Cantal { Alida , Municipality of Receprocity } Saskatchewan. He died In 1926. I am trying to find out who
