I would be interested in that Carnahan/Billingsley auction deal. I don't believe I have seen that. I do have a copy of a 1817 land sale that mentions the heirs of James Billingsley, decd, from Logan Co., Ky.

Also, there seems to be some discussion about your John Aaron although I am not sure I fully understand all the angles yet... <g>.

Andrew Carnahan and Elizabeth Billingsley had a son John Carnahan who married Sarah Dickey and apparently ended up in Indiana. Is this the John you are talking about? Can you help with how his middle name was identified?
