Infomation on marriage Elizabeth BUTTON b.1837

Hello Cousins,

We are trying to obtain any documentation of marriage for William RYAN and Elizabeth BUTTON.
The marriage took place in Keeneyville,Tiago Co., Pennsylvania in 1854.
Elizabeth, was the daughter of Charles BUTTON and Rachel HUGHES; grandaughter of Alpheus BUTTON and Elizabeth "Betsy" HILL.

Know that most marriages were not a matter of public record until later years. We were hoping that maybe this date was recorded in a BUTTON family bible or with other family history.

Does anyone from this 'very large' BUTTON family; by any chance have access to this information??

Any help that you might offer would be most appreciated.

Regards Arizona,

Pat RYAN LaFrance

Pat, I was just wondering if you knew that Elizabeth Ryan and two of her children, Rachel A. and Freddie are buried in Botton Hill Cemetery. Charles and Rachel Button's are also buried there. Oh, by the way I'm Sheila Box from Corning, ny. My father's grandmother was Henrietta Button. I'm looking for the SAMPLE side of the family. Nice meeting you, Sheila

Your names jumped out at me...I have an old photograph album that belonged to my great great grandmother, Marion (Mary) Elizabeth Douglas-Wright-Bryant of New York. In it is a photo of a Harriet Button-Ryan and a daughter Carrie Ryan. If they are relatives of yours, I would be happy to scan and email them to you.
