Hi,can anyone help with the building of a Britton Family Tree from England. My family came from the Wolverhampton / Staffordshire area.1900`s onwards.

My Greatgrandfather and his father were both called Richard Britton. As yet I don't know where they came from. I know that my Great Grandfather served in a Cavalry Regiment as a batman to General Peters

MY GRANDFATHER WAS STANLEY BRITTON FROM ILFORD ESSEX ENGLAND MY FATHER IS REGINALD BRITTON ALSO FROM ILFORD ESSEX ENGLAND.ANY IMFORMATION ON THE BRITTON FAMILY IN AND AROUND LONDON WOULD BE GOOD

6 Florence BRITTON bap 1874 Wednesfield
7 Mary Jane BRITTON bap 1876 Wednesfield

All born Heath Town, Wednesfield, W'ton.

My father, Douglas William Britton, was born in halstead

Essex 21/10/1919. His father was Frederick George

Britton b.17/07/1895 who was married to Edith Harriot

Potter. I believe that this branch of the Brittons originated

from derby,

I have researched quite a way back into the Brittons and have lots of interesting info. Mum has spoken to your Dad about some of it.
