I hope that some one is still checking these postings also. I believe that my Ggrandfather, who became a citizen under John Bresnahan is some how related. In the 1860 census he is in Chillicothe, Ross Co. Ohio, with wife and several children. By 1870 he and family had moved to Urbana, Champaign County, Ohio and started using the name Breslin. There is a James Breslin in the county and old timers know of a relationship...............I think John and James were brother. Several of James' sons went to KY. John Bresnahan is realtion to Patrick, Cornelius and a couple of women in Chillicothe and possibly to Michael in Xenia , Ohio (1860).
I know that some family was in Columbus at different times as well as the Cinci area. Any and all info appreciated.
Thanks, Karen Anne

Looking for information on a Cornelius Bresnahan, brother Patrick Bresnahan with possible brother Michael Bresnahan. First two from Chillicothe, Ross, Ohio. Michael from Xenia, Ohio. Two sisters at least in the area per 1860 census. One married a Bastible. Ggrandfather John Bresnahan is next door to some of the family in 1860...........by 1870 he has moved to Urbana, Ohio. Believe that James also in Champaign co. is a brother. Any information would be appreicated. Do have some more recent surnames............but not many. Thanks, Karen Anne
