Can anyone, in their many various spellings of this name, find a match to this:

I have Mary Brushlahan/Bresenhom/Bruslahan, born 1849 in Ireland, brother John, born 1850/1851 in England.

They first appear in the 1880 census of US. Mary is married to my ggggrandfather, John McInerney. Her brother John is living with them in Bay County, Michigan.

This census lists John McInerney being born in Michigan, however, my uncle swears that he was born in Ireland and that he married Mary there before coming to the US with her and his two brothers or her two brothers.

I am desperately trying to find more information on Mary's family, her parents, siblings, etc.
