Hello, I saw your message on the boards, I realize that your message was posted in 1999. I am hoping you continue to check the boards for replies. I am researching a Hugh Bresnahan who married a Mary? I do not know much more other than they were both born in Ireland and I know they had a daughter named Ellen born in Ireland about 1831. That Ellen married a John J. Bresnahan and he was born in Boston, MA around 1829. They lived in and around Boston, MA. John J.'s parents were Cornelius and Elizabeth Bresnahan birth dates and places unknown. In your research of the Bresnahan surname have you found these people? I have hit a brick wall and need help.
