I'm sorry I wasn't clear, Yes, Chief Joseph Brant. One of his daughter's married my 4th great grandfather, Allen Sage, Jr. Probably around 1780.

Chief Joseph Brant had five daughters. Christiana married Henry Aaron Hill,Margaret married Powless Powless,Catherine married Peter John,Elizabeth married Robert Kerr,and Mary marriedSeth Hill. Sorry, no Allen Sage is noted in the family tree.

Ron: Chief Joseph Brant did indeed have 5 daughters by whiteman's civil marriages, but he also had other "marriages" Indian way. I, also, am looking for a daughter of Chief Joseph Brant & Mary Winney. This daughter is named Betsy Brant who married one of my grandfathers, Isaac Bomberry. Of course history will not acknowledge this. I am at a loss as to how to find this connection but don't give up. I have several papers stating that this Betsy is his daughter.
