I'm searching for any information on the Drinkwine Boivin Family from Northern Vermont, St. Albans area. In particular the marriage of Theodore Antoine Drinkwine (Boivin) To Emily (Mary) Chamberlain about 1839+-. In a descendant of their daughter Adeline Drinkwine (b.1841) who married Joseph Richards.

If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated...

Yes, Boivin has been translated to Drinkwine. My mother is a Drinkwine. Her great grandfather was Edward Boivin and was born in St Gervais, Quebec on Jul 13, 1830. He immigrated to the United States, Bangor, Maine around 1850. No one could say or spell his name so the family changed the name to Drinkwine before 1860. Even Edward's wife's family changed their surname as well. His wife was Elizabeth Pooler (originally Poulin).
