I have found out the the parents of Emery,Mederic,Mery Blouin dit Laviolette
are Andre Blouin dit Laviolette - François Bounin
Marie Carreau-Cardan's parents are Louis Lafraicheur and Jeanne St. Denis.
My husband's line is from Gabriel Blouin. the seventh child of
Mery Blouin born 1641 in St.Pierre d'Etusson, Bressuire, Luçon, Poitou (Deux Sevre) France

My mother is a descedant of Mederic Blouin, too. I am in process of doing a book on our lineage. Am looking for info about him and others in our tree. I am trying to put in info about their lives, what they did for work, great accomplishments, inventions, anything of human interest. Do you have any info of this nature? I only have dates of birth/death etc. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Mederic's parents were Andre Blouin and Francoise Bounin. They resided in Poltou, France. Mederic himself was born in Lucon, France in 1641. I hope this helps you in your search.
I am searching for some human interest stories about the Blouin line, including Mederic and families. I know your search is more with the Dion's but if you have info like, work they did, offices held if any, inventions, great accomplishments, even if they were only farmers... please let me know.

aunt, Barbe Guyon m Pierre Paradis. All my research can be found on Ancestry.com

My Grand-Mother Blouin died a few months ago. We found in her things all sort of information of the Blouin family. I even have a book of the Blouin in Canada. I am a descendant of Mederic Blouin. If someone needs info I will be please to look it up.
