Sorry Karen, not enough information. Would you know the name of the parents of Delima Blouin? This is very far fetched but would it be Thomas Blouin married to Delima Dion as they had a daughter named Delima. You really need to find out the name of her parents to find out her ancestry. Yes the first Blouin is Canada is Mederic Blouin married to Marie Carreau, I am a descendant of their son Gabriel, they settled at Ile d'Orlean, and St. Vallier which is right across Quebec City.

Hi Louise,
Thanks for replying. I went back to the death record of Emma ( or Delima ), and had difficulty reading the names of her parents. I will give you what it looks like and maybe you can look for me again if you would please. The fathers' name looks like Guillaumu Blouin and the mothers' name looks like Phetoimem Theverge or Pletoimem Thruiage. The handwriting is awful. Both parents were born in Canada, but does not say which province or Parish. Emma's death record does not have anything written in the single, widowed or married box. I suspect she had her son out of wedlock and moved to Maine. His (Freds' or Isiae ) fathers name is Azarie Ledoux as listed on Fred's marriage intentions if that is a help. The other thing I know is that Azarie is from St. Denis Parish and he was 19 in the 1861 census for St. Denis according to a Father Ledoux that I have corresponding to . Thanks for reading and hope this gives you the info that will help us both out. Please write again either way to peter1@prexar.com if you would please. Thanks again, Karen

Danielle, you seem to have a lot of Blouin information. I hope you can help.

My grandmother was Eva Alice Blouin marrried to Edouard Gregoire. She was born in Napierville PQ Aug 14, 1884
She was the daughter of Etienne Blouin, born May 13, 1849, died Nov 25, 1932. I found a news clipping of his obituary. It mentioned that his father was Jerome Blouin, married to Marie Martine Sylvain. I haven't been able to go back any further.

I am a Franco-American, born and raised in Massachusetts but my parents insisted I have 13 years of bilingual education... so you can respond in the language your most comfortable in.

Thank you

Hi Donna, Augustin Blouin married Helene Meunier on 4-16-1736. But I don't have Victoire as an offspring. Their children were Augustin Jr, Madeleine, Helene, Dosithe-Amable, Judith, Maie-Angelique, Marie-Josette, and Joseph. Joseph is my lineage. He is 6 generations back from me.

Hope this helps some.

Thanks Scott,
I'm hoping that the name Victoire may be her middle name. I got that info from an ARGS. in R.I.

Hi, I'm from Massachusetts and am looking for my grandfathers
lineage. His name was Emile Blouin and was from the St.Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada area so the rumor says. On his marriage certificate he has his father listed as Napoleon Blouin and mother as Marguerite Goupel.
Have you any information on them? Thanks. Yvonne
