JOHN BELLE

John Henry BELLE, 71, passed away peacefully at his home in Joshua Tree on July 11, 2006.
He was preceded in death by his son Michael Jon.
John is survived by his wife, Phyllis “Ginger” Belle; six children, John, Mark, April, Matthew, Valerie and Joseph; 16 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; two brothers, William and George; and two sisters, Dolly and Mildred.
Born Oct. 20, 1934, to Anna and Clarence BELLE in Chicago, Ill., John was in the U.S. Marines in 1953, and served throughout 1956 during the Korean War, where he was honored with four service medals. He was a proud business man, owning and operating his own shop for many years. John’s greatest pride was the accomplishments and love he had for all his family.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Miller-Jones Mortuary, Moreno Valley. Graveside services will be held at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday at Riverside National Cemetery.
