Searching for info on William G. Beam and Harriet Tilley Beam. I know they were married 24 June 1911 and she was b. July 1889 the daughter of Charles and Hannah (Lloyd) Tilley. I am looking for dates and children if anyone has that info please. I will share what I have on the Tilley family.

I just read a 1935 newspaper account of a Tilley/Beam family reunion in Pawnee IL, so I think these two families have connections. Have you heard of Rosa Ann Tilley b. 1864 who married John E. Sanders (my great grandparents about whom I have one proof--a tiny photo of Rosa standing with grandaughter Blanche Nickols in 1933) Blanche was pregnant with me in the photo) I want to know who Rosa's parents were.

I've not come across either person so far in my Tilley family. My family comes from England to Wales then to PA. A few moved to OH but I haven't found any in IL.

Hi, I'm trying to help my husband research his family. He has a couple of Jacob Beams - one born in 1759 in PA, and the other born in 1792 in PA. Any help you can give us would be greatly appreciated! They seems to have gone from PA to OH then CO, and possibly some to NC. We're completely stuck, so we need help!

Also, I have a connection on my side to the Tilley family that came to the US on the Mayflower. Is this the Tilley family you descend from?

I haven't come across that name in my research, sorry.

As far as I can find out my Tilley family came across in 1865 long after the Mayflower.

We have a portrait of Rosa Ann Tilley and John E. Sanders we can scan for you. Also, the Pawnee events you refer to were known in our family as the "Sanders/Tilley/Beam" reunions.

Nigel Sanders (great-grandson of John E.)

So, you are a John E. and Rosa great-grandchild too!
I'd love to have a copy of the photo.
