There were a large number of Baxleys in the Williamsburg/Georgetown SC area beginning in the early 19th
century. A lot of them migrated from the Robeson Co. NC area. Anyone interested in these folks might want to visit the website of the Three Rivers Historical Society. They have a good bit of posted information and publications about the Williamsburg Baxleys. The link is:
