There is an 8 year old Charles Ayer living in my great great grandfather's, Isaac D Smith, household in 1850 in Tuftonboro New Hampshire. I am trying to find out who this young man might be. It is possible he might be related to Isaac's wife Mary, although I have no idea what her maiden name was. Isaac and family, sans Charles, is living in Elliot Maine in the 1860 census. Would anyone have any idea who this young man might be?
