Reed, is my 3rd great grandfather. His son
Llewellyn my 2nd Great Grandfather, then my Great Grandfather William and Grandfather Alfred.
I was wondering if you ever found Chandlers parents? I am stuck here also. I have been able to go back to the 1850 census, but anything before that is quite difficult to research. I have been meaning to go on a trip to Boothbay to check out the records but as of yet haven't been able to.
Also, the last place I find him listed is on the 1890 special veterans census of
Windsor,
Maine. Do you know where he is buried? I'm assuming it is around the veterans home he was in.
