John Alexander Axford's parents were William Axford and Mary Ann Elizabeth Freeman. William Axford was born in 1869. They had the following children: Charles, Elizabeth, William Henry, Susannah, Eva, John Alexander, Hilda, Thomas and Arthur Edward.
