Why not share it with all of us here so a greater number of researchers of the Armand name might benefit?

The following is the information I received from France. Louis Armand was one of 12 children , many who died as infants or very young. Their given names were: Louis b. 1840, Louis b. 1841, Louis b. 1842, Maruerite b. 1844, Joseph b. 1845, Louis b. 1848, Marguerite b. 1852, Marie b. 1853, Adrienne b. 1857, Fornien (sp?) Pierre b. 1860, Pierre Ferdidnand b. 1861. Gr-granparents were: Alexis Armand and Marie Allary, Louis Fonvielle and Marie Bec. Other ancestor surnames are: Jacob, Borel, Bassac, Bonamy. The births date back to 1734. Hopes this information connects to someone researching the Armand surname.

You might try AltaVista's Babel Fish Translation Service at "http://babelfish.altavista.com/" to help. It's been a big help to me in translation projects.
