Further information - my cousin and I just discovered Rhoda's step-daughter, Jane (BOYD) ROSE and her husband, named in the 24 Dec 1802 deed, moved to Fairfield Co., OH, very close to Rhoda's family in Licking Co., OH. John and James ROSE witnessed that entry. I'm looking for more information about this ROSE family. A possible descendant in Fairfield name a daughter "Rhoda Jane ROSE" and I need to investigate all ties among ROSE, BOYD, and EVANS.

Pat, if you are still online, could you please check a couple ROSE references in your Index to Loudoun Co., VA Land Deed Books 2A-2M, 1800-1810? I believe pgs. 88, 90 and 201 refer to a Thomas ROSE dec'd who is somehow related to George ROSE and his wife Jane BOYD. Or if someone else has a copy of this text, would you respond?
