I am looking for Utley males from the Goochland/Powhatan Utleys to participate in the Utley DNA project. The DNA test is a painless process which involves using 3 cotton swabs to gather samples from inside the mouth. I have recently submitted my test to Ancestry & discovered that I come from the same stock as the Uttleys of Heptonstall, Yorkshire, England. My purpose in taking the test is also to find a link between the Virginia & North Carolina Utleys from whom I am descended.
