My great great great great was John Wills his wife's name was Lucy. He served in the militia in 1776 for a few months. His son Robert C. Wills married Elizabeth T. Rock. Robert C. was in the militia during the war of 1812. He was described to be about 5 foot 5 inches tall and of dark complection They had 5 children my great great grandfather John being the oldest. They all lived in Charles City County and surrounding counties at one time or another. I would like to find anyone that might have more than information of what happened to the children.

Do you have either and Elizabeth Wills that married 1816 to John Pearman? Or Ester Wills that married Thomas Pearman

Rock family have appeared a lot with the Pearman's on several documents.

I have a John Pleasant Pearman who married a Sarah Fuqua in Charles City County, Virginia in 1817. I don't know if this helps but I hope so as I have been trying to locate John Pleasant Pearman's relatives. I would be interested in parents or siblings, if anyone has such information. I would be more than happy to trade information.

The Fuqua and Pearman families were neighbors of my grandparents, Adam and Edna Hayre Gearheart, in Charles City. Ed Fuqua helped my grandmother when my grandfather passed away in 1935. In fact, my aunt still has the bedroom set Mr. Fuqua gave her and her kids.

The property my family owns today, where my father was raised, was sold to my grandfather, Zavan Gearheart, by Mr. Wills.
