I am looking for information on the John Crawford Hipp family. John (b 1895 d 1963) was married to Nora Lou Barker (b 1895). Their children were Rachel, Crawford, J.D., Mary Francis, Betty Jo, Ouida Fay, and Virginia Lou. The last four were born in Zavala County between 1926-1936. I found a Margaret Rachel Hipp married a Tellus Goodsell Hasten. Mary Francis married a W. G. Barton.
I am also looking for information on James Ray Barker family. He is a brother to Nora Lou. He married John's sister Margaret. James was born 1897 and died 1974. Their children were Jennie Lee, Dale, Elizabeth, and Patricia Sue.

I am John Crawford Hipp's granddaughter. My mother is Ouida Fay Hipp Hasten, she passed away in 2002. Friday evening, March 7, my aunt Betty Jo Hipp Hasten passed away at the age of 79. We buried her in Carrizo Springs on Tuesday and I had the honor of getting reaquainted with many Hipp/Barker family members. Guess that's why I'm on this sight.
My mother's cousin, Jimmie Lee Barker Anderson, is the oldest member still living (as far as I know) and she is very feeble now, but still lives in her husband's family mansion(Bel Asher) in Asherton, TX.
