Matilda Hough Atwood died and was buried on the banks of the Leona river where Hwy 90 crosses the river about 50 yards from the road in 1864. Up until the 1940's there was a rock wall that surrounded the grave. Has anyone ever heard of this or seen this?

Was the grave on the North or South side of Hwy 90 in the town of Uvalde?

I'm not sure exactly what side it is on. All i know is that it is about 50 yds from the road on the riverbank. It used to be on the Godbold ranch way back when.
