I am wondering if someone could advise on finding a newspaper article from 1949 in Uvalde. According to my father there was an article written about his family immigrating from Poland. We are going to be having a family reunion this summer, celebrating the 60th anniversary of their arrival, and I would love to have a copy of that story. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Noticed your family immigrated from Poland (like mine in 1853). County lines changed over time and some land was included both Uvalde and Bandera counties over the years.

Must admit I'm curious regarding the surname of your Polish ancestors.
