We are searching any information on my husband's grandparent, WILLARD BROOKS was born in 1863 Mason County IL died 1946 Hunt County, TX buried in McWright Cemetery, Hunt County, TX. Married Mary Frances FREEMAN Jan 8, 1890 in Hunt County, TX. Willard BROOKS had a brother Sherman Lewis BROOKS who made his home with him. He was born in 1862 Mason County, IL and died 1936, Hunt County, TX. also buried in McWright Cemetery.

How can I go about getting a copy of the obits. I found several obits listed, for this family, in the Hunt County Newspapers Index Project you so graciously sent. Looking for information on Claude L. Freeman son of Emma Manahan and Simeon M. Freeman. Claude was born in 1883 in Marks, Quitman CO, MS. He was law officer, maybe a sheriff in Hunt CO, Tx for sometime, maybe in the 1920-40's. I have his name associated with Commerce, TX. He is the brother of my grandfather T. J. Freeman.
