John Page, and Francis Page are listed in Goliad History;
John Page was on the 1848 Tax rolls with thousands of acres of land and many slaves. He is listed on both the 1850 and 1860 U.S. Census, with family and living in Goliad; Is this John Page the brother to Jacob R. Page who lived in Lavaca Co. 1854 and married Mary Ann Lackey in Lockhart in 1856. Jacob and Mary was in Gonzales Co. in 1858, Calhoun 1860, and Jackson Co. in 1861;
Daniel Sidney Page was in DeWitt Co. 1850 and lived in Bee Co. untill 1870. Need any information!

of William Henry Page (1807/1870) who's brother, Nehemiah J. Page (1785/1863), settled in Angelina Co. prior 1860. His son, Willis Page, in 1870 Goliad Co. census. I know there was a relationship between him and the John you are researching.

My GGF was Jacob R. Page, born La.,some records show Ala.and Miss., abt 1820, Married Rebecca C. Austin; 2nd wife, my GGM was Mary Ann Lackey born Ark.1834; They married Caldwell Co. Tex. 1856; Jacob had a brother John Page, I think the same John Page that was on the census records for Goliad County, 1850 and 1860?. Jacob also had a Ist cousin Daniel Sidney Page in Bee county Texas.
I have never found where in La. Jacob lived! His first son Richard Austin Page was Born in Ark. 1851, 2nd; Bryant Franklin Page born La. 1853; Where? Jacob returned to La. after the Civil war and was killed by son-in-law John Snow; Where? His daughter was Rebecca Emma Page.
My GF was William Green Page born Jackson or Calhun Co. Tex abt 1861.Other two sons of second marraige of Jacob was Elijah Monroe Page, lived Mills co. Tex. and George Riley Page lived Runnels Co. Tex.
Richard A. Page and Bryant F. Page left Jackson Co. Tex after thier father returned to La. and went to the Texas Hill country abt last of the 1860,s or early 1870,s Where? and who did they know there?? I have guessed it might be your William Henry Page they went to?
I need any info. on my Page's. I have been to the cemetary where your Nem. Page is buried in east Tex.& have some info. on them

My PAGE family, as far back as we have traced, was in Sampson Co. NC, GA then into MS Territory in the part that became AL & then to MS when it became a state. My direct line later moved into AR & one of his brothers & a sister moved to TX.
