I'm trying to find information on this family. John was my great grandfather. After the death of his wife Florence, my great grandmother, he supposedly remarried Ruth Phelps and had a daughter, Frances. According to my aunt, this remarriage was a well kept family secret so I have no information on my great aunt, who may still be alive. I am not related. Unknown if John M English married widow Ruth Phelps Chambers who had Frances in 1928. John M English was enumerated as James L English in the 1930 census as "part of the secret".
