I am looking for a Manuel Ruiz. If he has not passed away, he should be in his 80's. I have heard that he has a son named Manuel Ruiz Jr. I do not know anything about him except that he was once in Robstown, TX. My mother found him through the internet one time, and she said he lived in Asherton, TX. The only Manuel Ruiz I have found over the internet that lives in Asherton is a Manuel F. Ruiz. If anyone has any information, please contact me.

I'm not too sure. He was more than likely born in Robstown where my family is from, and where he used to live, but I cannot be positive. My mother does not know very much information about him.

Ok, amazing how hard it is to find out things about RUIZ's, I am sure other surnames have the same problem....lol. They say you ask your oldest living relatives, but when they cannot answer your questions, that makes it even worse. Thanks

Yeah, I know the feeling. I really can't ask any of my older realitives because those who would know are no longer alive. I also can't ask my Tios and Tias because I don't want them to know, I have a feeling they would take offense if I was trying to find my mother's father.

Its pretty sad.....seems when the older generation were kids, they were to be SEEN but not HEARD....Guess they were always told to stay out of family matters. Also if any older relatives came from Mexico, trying to find that info...FORGET it....

So are you the same Manuel Jr. who's brother is Mario? I just recently sent him an email but still no reply. If you like to know more info. on my family let me know, but I won't post it on this message board. :)
