I am looking for any information about my
great grandmother's parents or siblings.
Her name was Emma Marie "Mary" Peterson and
According to census information she was born
in Feb. 1877 in Texas and her father was
Swedish and her mother Norwegian. In her
daughter's, Mrs. Rosalee ROBINSON's, delayed
birth cert. she says Emma was born in Clifton,
TX which is in Bosque Co. Emma married Olaf
Christian "Chris" HEILMAN in Waco, McLennan Co>Co., TX on 20 May 1895 and they were living
at 2525 N. 18th St. in Waco in 1900 and 1910.
Their children were
William A. HEILMAN b. 13 Nov 1895 d. Nov 1983
in Waco. I know he was living at 1625 Mitchell
in Waco in 1952.
Christine HEILMAN b. Nov 1897 a nurse, died of
TB
Rosalee HEILMAN b. 10 Jul 1900 Waco, TX d.
d. 25 Feb 1945 Dallas, TX married George
Freeman ROBINSON
Emma HEILMAN b. 20 Nov 1903 d. 4 Dec 1920
El Paso, TX. of TB. Buried in Waco.
Helen HEILMAN b. 1906 died of TB
Ola Mae HEILMAN b. 8 Feb 1912 married
A.J. "Jack" PUTMAN
I've hit a brick wall. Here are the only
other clues I have.
There are several strong indications that
Emma had a brother named Albert John
PETERSON. He signed the death cert of her
daughter Emma, who died in El Paso and
arranged the shipment of her body back to
Waco for burial in 1920. He was living in
Tornillo, TX about 30 miles SE of El Paso
where he had a General Store.
On Albert's death cert. it says he was,
like Emma, born in Clifton, TX (Bosque Co)
on 3 May 1976. He died in Del Rio, Val Verde Co Co., TX on 14 May 1933 and he
was sent to Leaky, TX (Real Co.?) for
burial. His sister Anna Peterson gave
the information on the death cert. His
wife was Emma Vogel and his parents are
listed as Albert Peterson born in Sweden
and C. BANARD.
In the 1910 census, I believe I have found
him in Waco, McLennan Co., TX. Albert
PETERSON is listed as age 34 married once
(but wife not there) his parents are listed
as Swedish and Norwegian just as Emma's.
Living with him are his mother Hansime
PETERSON age 55 born in Norway and married
twice. Second marrieage took place 29 years
ago. Also listed are Albert's half brother
and sisters, Helmer Peterson age 20, Annie
PETTERSON age 26 and Josie Peterson age 16.
Also with them is a cousin named Carl
HEMBORG age 20 who was born in Kansas and
parents were Swedish. They were all living
at 1624 N. 6th St. Albert and Carl were both
listed as Ice Men/Drivers.
This is all I have and I'm stymied right
now. Any help is desperately needed.

Im the son of George F. Robinson the brother of Robert Robins who is Robbie's dad...Rosa Lee is our Grandmother...it was my understanding the she came for a beer brewing family in Norway...I would like more info on the Robinson family or Haeilman's as well

Rose Lee Heilman was daughter of Christian Olaf Heilman and Emma Christine Marie Peterson who were married at First Lutheran Church in Waco,TX, 20May1895.
C. O. Heilman was born about July, 1870 in Trondheim, Norway, son of Carl August Heilman born 1837 and wife, Oline, born 1838.The family is listed in the 1875 census of Trondheim. C. O. departed Trondheim 4Nov1886 on ship "Thingvalla" via Oslo for Jancton, Kansas. He lived in Waco where he died 24June1919 and was buried in Oakwood Cemetery.
Emma C. M. Peterson was born 16Feb1877 in Bosque County, TX, baptized 18March1877 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in the Norse Community. She was dau of Andrew Gustav Peterson (born about 1849 in Sweden; died 7May1878 in Bosque County) and Hansine Wilhelmine Fredrikke Johnson born 18Apr1850 in Ullensaker Parish, Norway; dau of Arne Johnson and Antonia Hygen; died 16April1931 in El Paso, TX; buried in Our Savior's Lutheran Cemetery, Bosque County.
Hansine Johnson and her parents departed Oslo 16Oct1869 on ship "St. Olaf."
Arne Johnson was born 14Nov1819 at Braaten, Grue Parish, Norway, found in Bosque County census 1870, 1880. He married Antonia Hygen 11July1849 in Ullensaker Parish. Antonia was born 25Aug1815 at Aarstad, Brandval Parish, Norway; baptized 17Sep1815 at Brandval Parish; died 10Apr1904 in Bosque County; buried Our Savior's Lutheran Cem. in unmarked grave. She was daughter of Prokurator (lawyer) Hans Jacob Hygen and Alette Marthea Johannesdatter Gjerdrum.
