Hello...I'm searching for the family of WINFRED NUTEN LEFEVER/LEFEVRE who married JULIA MINTA HARVEY Dec. 6, 1894
Bosque County Texas. Two known sons ARTHER ANDREW LEFEVER
born March 20, 1898 and JACK LEFEVER. Jack Lefevre led the singing group "Texas OUTLAWS" which Roy Rogers joined in
1933 in California. Later being called "THE PIONEER TRIO"
and then eventually "THE SONS OF PIONEERS". My grandfather
ARTHER ANDREW LEFEVER/LEFEVRE sang with this group also.

I have a copy. The Bosque County Collection is selling them for $24.95 each. It profiles all of the early settlers in and around Valley Mills. There is much there about the Odles.
Last night, while browsing, I found an entire family tree of the Cutbirths back to the 1700's on up to our Bosque County Cutbirths. It was very thorough. I'll try to find the website if you are interested.
Do you know of any other present day Cutbirth descendants?
My mom is from Mosheim (Vickrey); (my dad grew up on Neils Creek.) Sarah Jane Cutbirth is my great-great-grandmother who was married (l) to James Mabray and (2) John Thomas. My greatgrandmother's father was James Mabray.
How are you related to Cutbirths?

I have information on the Cutbirths who married into the ODLE family. Also, their is writeups about the Cutbirths in the Bosque Co., Land and People

2. Sarah Cutbirth Mabray Thomas, my gg-grandmother
3. Caroline Matilda Mabray Henderson, my g-grandmother
4. Tisby Tennessee Henderson Vickrey, my grandmother
5. my mother (living)
6. Me

In counting up your Cutbirth ancestors, you are also #6 on the list of Elijah's descendants, as am I.

I am a Cutbirth descendent. My grandfather was John Aubrey Cutbirth of Wichita Falls, his father was Matthew Cutbirth, whose father was Alvin Cutbirth of Bosque County, whose father was Elijah Cutbirth (buried in Poston-Odle Cemetary near Moshiem. I work in Gatesville and happened upon the Bosque County, Its Land and People book at the library. I know there are Cutbirths in the Abilene area and a couple in Wichita Falls. My mother, Purna Lee Cutbirth Dixon is alive and lives near Tyler. Would like to communicate more on this if you would have the time,.
