I am seeking information on Pierce Family in Dyer County Tn. 1850 census shows john F Pierce (my g-grandfather) in household of A.C. and MAA. Pierce. John F later married Ozella Stephenson on 2 March 1875. They had 8 children--Willard-William F -Abner Cab plus 5 sisters (names unknown). Looking for identies of "A.C. and MAA. Pierce" and their roots. Any other information as related to anyone on this Family Tree will be much appreciated.

RE: A C & M A Pierce, ancestors. Just a hunch, but lived either next door, or a seperate dwelling on same land of E W Pierce, female, age 48, from Virginia. Considering A C age, & ages of those living with E W Pierce and those another door down from AC & M A on same census page, I'd venture a guess that EW is mother of AC. All are from Virginia, So, I'd go there for 1830 Census to check ages of males & females that match to EW & oldest male children 10 yrs younger.
Abner Cab Pierce married Katherine V Claiborne, whom I am researching.
