Hoping you can help or guide me. This is a long-shot for sure.

I have a very old photo of my father that was taken on the Ramp of what looks like the Train Depot with a sign of TRIMBLE hanging on the building. This was taken back in early 20's or before cause my dad ran away from home looking for work while a teenager, about 14-17 years old, and he ended up in TRIMBLE and a Doctor and his family took him in and I don't have a clue who the Doctor was. They fed him, bought him cloths, etc., wanted him to stay with them and he did for awhile. Is there a Genealogy Source in TRIMBLE? A place or someone that might have some other photos of TRIMBLE at that time...early 20's?

I would like to know if anyone could help me with some details about TRIMBLE in that time, pictures, documents, Doctors names, etc. Anything, any help would be appreciated.

Check with the Dyer Historical Society. Star Gazette Newspaper. Dyer County website has several pages of transcribed newspapers from many years, and a page for "identifying old photos"...maybe post it & someone may recognize him. Doctors traveled around the county, perhaps they lived in Dyersburg. Phone directories may help... Hist Soc. may have more. Also, there was an orphanage in Dyersburg....

Good luck.
