Surnames: Hilliard, Sanford, Dowdy, Youn
This is my gr-gr-grandmother who died January 21, 1966 in Cheraw, Chesterfield S.C.
I believe that she was married to her 2nd husband last name of Brown but have no more information.
She was buried in her hometown of Dodge County, Rhine Georgia at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
There is a marker at her grave next to her headstone that has the name of the funeral home that handled her arrangements was Stubbs Funeral Home, Cheraw, S.C.

She died in the Chesterfield County Hospital.

Her sons were Herbert & Manly Hilliard.

I am contacting vital records for her death certificate but would appreciate a newspaper obituary and possibly her "Brown" connection in Cheraw.

Thanking you in advance

You might want to check with Norton Funeral Home formerly Stubbs Funeral Home. They were so kind and I felt went out of their way trying to help me find record of my grandmother's death and services prior to their buying the funeral home.
Address is: 417 3rd St. Cheraw SC. Sorry don't know zip.
Ph # 843-537-7010.
e-mail address: www.nortonfuneralofcheraw.com
Hope this helps

Hey I was wondering if you ever got a vital record of Georgia's death certificate if so I would love to have a copy of it. Georgia was my 3rd great aunt and it would help with my family research. Thanks.
