I thought I'd post a response because I and others in my Query family of Indiana spent many years trying to determine the relationship of Alexander Query/Queary and his family to our family. I finally figured out in 1998 that there was no relationship. They did both live in Adams Co. Ohio. in the 1810-20's before coming to Indiana. The Quearys lived in Rush Co. and later Jasper Co. In.

I have a John QUERY (b abt 1824 PA) who married Hettie Ann ROBISON (b abt 1830 OH) on Nov 6, 1845 in Richland Co., OH
Hettie Ann was the daughter of William and Elizabeth ROBISON who lived in Westmoreland Co., PA (I believe in S. Huntingdon Twp.). The ROBISON family moved from PA to Richland Co., OH abt 1818.
I believe Hettie's husband John was the son of John QUERY (b abt 1770-1780) who is listed in the 1820-30 census in S. Huntingdon Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA and were living 1 farm from Thomas ROBISON.
