Hi Paula,

Did you get any luck with this research?

Do let me know as I am researching a branch of the Glendenings where James is born in Barton St Mary in 1796. His family moved to Darlington and he then came south and was married in London in 1825.

His father was John and his mother Jane (Jackson) and we have his father with just one link to Carlisle on the birth of a child I believe.

Now it could be that this John was an older brother of your James and I would love to know if you have developed your tree as I am stumped at present.

Please respond even if you have got no further.
