We are searching for Thomas Washington COLE and his wife Patsy who died in North Carolina before 1840. Thomas and Patsy were victims of either a tornado or were drowned in a covered wagon crossing a river/stream.
Thomas and Patsy were married before1820. They were survived by at least four children:
1. Peter COLE, b. about 1820;
2. Harry COLE, who became a doctor in Mobile, AL
3. Thomas Washington "Tom" COLE, Jr., b. 24 Nov., 1824 and went to Covington Co., MS, by 1846
4. An unidentified daughter.
