SEAGROVE — Thelma
Davis Miller Mabe, age 89, of 741
Hogan Farm Road, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, at Baaseiah Rest Home in
Candor.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at Dover
Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Dr. Don
Davis officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Mabe was born in
Moore County to the late Neil
Webster and Elma
Hancock Davis.
She was retired from the Finishing Department at BB Walker’s.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Hubert
Miller and Vernon Mabe; daughter, Mildred
Faye Bruce; son, Jerry Don Miller; stepson, Kenneth Don Mabe; brothers, Howard, Clarence, Charlie and
Tallie.
Surviving are stepsons, Gary
Mabe and wife, Frances, of Seagrove, Steve
Mabe and wife, Beverly, of Raleigh; daughters-in-law, Brenda
Miller Maness of Seagrove, Judith
Mabe of Seagrove; brothers, Lealon
Davis and wife, Wilma, of Seagrove, Ray
Davis and wife, Jenny, of Nitro, W.Va.; grandchildren, Sherry and Edward
