Pinkey Moore was my ggg grandfather. He was born in NC and married Sarah Lowe, their first son was named Zachariah and he was born in 1838 in NC, in 1840 they travelled to IN where they had two more children James Madison 1840 and Hannah 1843. Sarah died and then Pinkney remarried to Elizabeth Perryman.
Looking for ancestors of Pinkney Moore born 10 Apr 1810 somewhere in NC.

My great-great grandfather was Thomas Dick Moore, half-sibling to Zachariah. Both were sons of Pinkney Moore. I believe Thomas Dick Moore married Margaret Hannah Wood, daughter of Thomas J Wood, who would be Priscilla's brother.
I would love to see your tree to see if I can fill any missing links on mine. Mine is a work in progress, but you are welcome to see my tree as well. I will add you as a guest. I believe I have found where Pinkney Moore is buried and hope to visit the cemetery to get photos when possible. I have been to Cowden area and have gotten several photos of gravesites.

Is he buried in Hudson? If so, it is hard to find... I was there twice and the last time it was in pretty rough shape.
