After 2 years of searching, I've FINALLY tracked down my Great Great Grandfather!! Although he lived in Haverstraw (Rockland County) NY, he died at the Middletown Homeopathic Hospital on Dec 24, 1894! He was admitted there on 4 Oct 1894. His death certificate shows he died of "terminal dementia and exhaustion" and was buried at Hillside Cemetery.

His parent's names are "unkown" according to the death certificate. His birthday is "unknown" as well.

I'm trying to learn his birthdate, or his parent's names, or confirm his wife's name (believed to be Mary Williams).

Does anyone visit Hillside often and might be able to check the headstone for me?

I can't really make out the name on the death certificate but it looks like "R----f--en Bro's" did the burial. Does anyone know what the name of this funeral home might be?

Does anyone know if the funeral home's records are archived any where?

I've reached a dead end...and could really use a hand..
