I did find this....

Etta 29
Victoria, 11
Russell 9
John 8
Earl 5
Ethel 2 1/2

1880 Millville, NJ
Berry, John 43
Rebecca 34
Henry 19 + 6 more kids, then Etta 3mths (b. Apr)
strange though....in 1870 Etta's parents were listed as 36 & 27, in 1860 they were 24 & 18

You have done it! You found them. I could not find them in any census but I did not have access to the NJ census. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I have been trying to find out Rebecca Berry's maiden name to no avail. I will write to the vital stats now that I have the info you gave me. I am grateful

I mus tell you that I have tried getting records from Atlantic Co. NJ and was told I have to go (or write) to Trenton.
Also, if it helps, on the 1860 census John & Rebecca have a two year old son, so I would guess they were married between 1855 & 58. Some times you will find a young couple living with either his family or hers. The family next door to them in 1860 was Pancoast (at least that's what it looks like), & they were old enough to have an 18 yr. old daughter.
Oh yeah...they were in Hamilton twp. Atlantic Co. & in Buena in 1870.
good luck

Hey thanks! Now does it mention anything about them like their occupations?
I have a document that states rebecca's last name but i can't quite make it out. Looks like it could be Butterworth or Bullenirth, the t's are not crossed. MYSTERY! I am in Florida so I will write to the Vital Stats folks up there.
THANKS AGAIN!

Hi Brenda,
I sent this email to your aol acct already, but I'm posting it here as well because the emails I sent to aol always seem to end up in a spam box! So this might be a duplicate.
It's nice to hear from you. I've been searching for a long time, I retired at the age of 68 so I've had a lot more time to devote to it in the last few years. I always enjoy getting to know the different 'cousins' I meet in the course of the hunting!
Looks like your 2xgreat'grandmother Rebecca Butterworth-Berry and my great'grandmother Susan Butterworth-Mills were sisters. I have some photos of this family I can have scanned for E-mail if you would be interested.
I would be interested in comparing notes on our Butterworth line. I have our earliest ancestor, John Butterworth, married Rachel Lowe in Lancashire, ENGLAND in 1676. Their son, JOHN Butterworth, married Alice Wood, who came to New Jersey from ENGLAND in early 1700s. You probably already have all this, but I'd be happy to share whatever I have if you think it would help you.
Do you have death dates for your JOHN Harris and Etta Berry-Harris? I have their birthdays and marriage, but no dates for deaths.

THANK YOU cousin,
It is nice to meet you,
Marion
