I'm searching for the parents of Nellie Scanlan. She was born on 8 Apr 1884 in Colfax County, Nebraska. She would later marry Charles T. Geiger on 5 Apr 1910 (also in Colfax County), and had four children: Lester, the twins Everett & Evelyn, and Vernon Geiger.

I believe that her parents were Cornelius and MAry (nee Waters) Scanlan. I have been told that they may have moved to Nebraska from Illinois, although that is unverified.

I have her parents as Con Scanlan and Mary Waters also. Marys' parents were Garrett and Johanna Murphy Waters. After Mary married Con they moved to Colfax County Nebraska. Shortly after her family followed, parents and 4 siblings....Ellen, James, Edward and Garrett. They all stayed in Colfax County. I think Con's parents were Con Sr and .....McGready.
