In 1865 the Mejstrick family (all born in Bohemia) arrived in Baltimore on the Barque sailing from Bremen, Germany. Franz age 43; Mrsula age 42; Marie age 16; Franz age 10; Alois age 8; Anton age 7; Bohemil age 6 and Vincent age 3. They settled in Cleveland, Oh. Vincent md. Barbara Krtil also from Bohemia and they had Frank b.1880-1882; Mary b. 1883; Margaret b. 1885; Antionette b. 1888 and Estella b. 189? I only know my grandmother's sisters and have no knowledge of her brother Frank or her uncles. Perhaps these aren't your direct relatives but might be cousins. I'm looking for information on Katherina Mejstrik born ca 1857 and died 7 Mar 1903 and is buried at St Mary's Cemetery Colfax County NE. She married Jacob Jura who died 6 Mar 1911. Their son was John Vaclav born 20 Feb 1884 and date of death unk. I think he married Frances Cernin in Colfax County, NE. This is research for a friend, Jan. Any help is appreciated.
