I am looking for any information on the Robert Kissee family who lived in Taney county after 1870. Robert's wife was named Catherine. Her maiden name could possibly have been Dummit, although I am not sure. It is possible that they lived in Kissee Mills. I am interested in the history of Kissee Mills, as well. I am also researching the Kissee family that lived in Taney County, MO at that time period.
Nancy Jane Kissee married Jessie Jennings in that area around the 1870's. They were my husbands gr-gr grandparents. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to come up with much info on Jessie Jennings at all. I was hoping you may have some sort of clue, since you are researching the same clan.
In some of my papers I have on the Kissee's it mentions several different Robert Kissee's. I'm not sure which one your interested in.

Is your Jesse Jennings related in any way to Squire Jennings who was born in Kentucky in 1813 and died in Douglas County Missouri in 1885? If so, I would love to correspond with you.
