Granville Smith GREGER lived in McDonald Co., MO, for at least the period between April 1930 and 1942; the 1930 U.S. Census indicates he farmed. In 1930 Grandville lived in Pineville Twp.; in 1942 he lived in Anderson, MO (Rural Route 3).

Grandville--sometimes spelled or mis-spelled "Granville," Granvill" and even "Gromuel," married Alta FALLS bet. 1892 - 1893.

Is anyone out there related to or in possession of more data on this great-grandfather of mine? If so please contact me. Much appreciate.

Larry, I'm so glad to hear from you! If Emanuel H./Amanwel Greger were indeed brothers, then you're the first Greger relative I've found!! Please email me directly. It sounds like we are probably cousins.

What data leads you to connect the dots on Emanuel and Robert and the rest? (Also, have you had as hard a time as me, I wonder, finding ancestry on this line?)

Susan

Hello Larry,
My name is Jason Johnson and I am trying to find out information on the Gregers that are in my family tree. Here is what I have so far: My great great Grandfather was George A. Greger and his father was George W Greger. They are all from Sidney Illinois. George A. Greger also had a brother named Frank. It seems that Illinois, PA, and OH seeem to be the areas they are from. I am from MN and the only other info I have is that the gregers I am related to are from the Champaigne ILL area. My great grandma was Ella Greger and her sister was Georgia Greger, but these names are probably too far down to match what you have.
Any information you have would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Jason

Hello Larry!
This has been one of the tougher parts of my family tree to try and figure out. The only info that I had on the Gregers was a letter written to my Great Grandma Ella Greger by her Grandma in 1907 that mentioned a son Frank would be visiting that week, and it was signed Grandma G. This letter must have been written by Martha Greger then. Are there many Gregers in that part of Illinois? I have a Clara Meinhardt from Marion Ohio listed for George A Gregers wife, do you also have the same info? I would like to put any info you have into my family tree, if you are interested send me an e-mail with what you have and I will give you everything I have.
Thanks Larry!
Jason Johnson
