i just found george a greger age 61 born 1868 living in wyoming in the 1930 federal census. i have no acess to this census of yet,but this should give head of household,birthplace,race,home in 1930.

your great-greatgrandfather george w.greger was born in clermont county ohio in 1830.father was greg gregor mother rhoda.he was born in pa.in 1798 i believe.george w greger married martha e.tucker feb.10,1859 in clermont,ohio.martha was born in 1840 in ohio.they had w grant grant greger in 1864 in ohio.they moved to sidney illinois,champaign county in 1865 and settled on section 35 near block station.the had you great granfather george a greger in 1869 probable there in sidney.then came carri c greger in 1872-everart f.-then frank n greger.

Hi, My great grandfather was George W. Greger & his father was George Albert born in Scotland & I am still trying get records from there about him. He was married to Minnie Bell. My grand father was Ulylissus Grant Greger & he was born in Felicity, Ohio in 1864 & he went to NE. & marrried Mary Anna Matzener from Switzerland. All of your info that you have listed, checks out with what I have! I e-mailed you at your personal address about 2 weeks ago, but have not heard from you as yet. Turns out Larry & I are 3rd cousins: his great-grandfather Robert Chaffin Greger & my 2nd great-granddad Emanuel H. GREGER were brothers.

From what I understand of your RootsWeb posting, you seem to think your grandfather George W. GREGER might be brother to Robert Chaffin (and Emanuel)? AND, you say your Geo. W.'s father was from Scotland?!?!

Larry is the main Greger researcher here, not me, but unless he has new data he hasn't gotten around to giving me, he has Robt. Chaffin's father as born in KY: a George Greger, born about 1798 in KY, died before Dec. 18, 1869, married Rhoda Ann (Rudy) LEEDS b. Abt. 1803 Galloway Twp., Gloucester Co., NJ, d. Bet. 1860 - 1870.

What is your source for the Scotland data? This is so exciting!

This is a long shot, I have been trying to find a Jim Creager (Do not know the correct spelling). This "Jim" was listed on my Grandmothers birth certificate. Myrtle Harper dob 1900 in Winona Mo. Her mother was Cora Harper dob 1879 in Illinois or Indiana. Have found both on different census from Winona, Mo.
