Hoping you can help. Looking for a William Smith family that lived in Itawamba county in 1850. Most moved to Texas by 1860, but William and his wife, Mary are nowhere that I can find them. They were William Smith, born 1788 in NC, his wife Mary ? born 1789 in SC, James Milton or Milton James Smith, born 1820 in Ala., Sidney E. Smith, born 1830 in Ala., Pinkery Smith, born 1831 in Ala., Harvy V. Smith, born 1837 in Ala., and Eliza Smith, born 1839 in Ala.
James, Sidney, Harvy, and Eliza were in Texas in 1860. There were probably more children, because of the 10 year span between James and Sidney. There could of been daughters that married, but don't know where to look without any names to go by. Thank you for any help that you might be able to give to me.
