Looking for information on the family of Axel Anderson, born 1854 in Sweden and died 20Nov1924 near Marysville. He was married to a Carrie/Kary/Cary with the surname of Kallstrom? according to family stories. His father is listed as A Anderson in the 1880 census of Marysville but have run into a dead end on finding any further info. Any family out there that has more info? Would like to find more family members.

Dead end?? Try the census records. He also owned land. I would imagine land records are available too. Unless there is more than one Axel and Carrie Anderson in Marysville.

I have some information about Axel Anderson's family (Anderson/Kallstrom). I'm quite sure he's the son of Anders Andersson and Anna Caisa Jansdotter (Andrew & Kaisa Anderson) who arrived in MN in 1871 with their family.
My main interest is in Axel's younger sister Christine. If she is my relative, then the family must have spent a few years in Michigan, near Marquette, between arriving at Duluth and settling in Marysville. I would appreciate any information either for or against this notion. As you can imagine, tracking down the family of "Christine Anderson" in the Midwest has not been easy, so ANY information about Axel's sister Christine would be very helpful indeed.

I noticed several postings related to the descendants of Anders "Andrew" Anderson and Anna Caisa Jansdotter. They are my wife's ggg grandparents through their daughter Johanna "Betsy" and her husband Swen "Andrew" Swanberg.

I know that Betsy had a brother Andrew who was a druggist in Cokato and a MN legislator at one point. There may well be other family that I don't know about.

Hi! I think we might have intersecting lineage. Our Kelstrom line comes from Sweden, and Minnesota. Nels Gustave Kelstrom and his wife, Minnie Otilla Johnson. Nels' parents were Michel Ludvig Kelstrom and Agnes Anderson. My records start getting fuzzy at this generation, and I also show another Agnis Anderson on the other side of the family at Minnie's grandmother.
