Apparently the church was a branch of the Hauge Lutheran Synod and it blended with the local church in Thief River Falls in 1916 - so they left the site of Andrew and his 2 year old son's burial and moved to town to become Trinity Lutheran. Old plat maps from 1911 show a school on the parcel - maybe the Haugean church had been using the school as a church? My great grandfather John hauled just such a building out for a hunting shack past four town
Rootsweb shows Andrew Ricksson owning the NE Quarter of Sec 17 in Cloverleaf Township, Pennington County - purchased 07 May 1907 - 160 acres. 154 N. Range 41 W. Section 17 just a short jump from his eventual burial sight. Document #2754 Serial #MN3320_244. There is one other upright in that grove of trees that is easy to find: Nikoline Ulvild - in case you stumble across it if you ever visit. Andrew's marker is east about 15 paces and 2 paces south. You'll see it. Good luck
